Celebrity Big Brother is back on the air – and there’s a whole new interior design to the iconic house. While viewers watched the launch to witness the likes of Kirstie Alley, Dan Osborne and Ryan Thomas enter the television show, those who were glued to their television sets also got their first glimpse of the compound’s brand-new look. Needless to say, they weren’t disappointed.

This year’s house is arguably more striking than ever, especially with its head-turning kitchen and dining area. Kirstie Alley actually marvelled that it looked like something from ‘1930s Hollywood’ when she stepped through the door, in part thanks to the stylish dining table and chairs. It just goes to show that the right furniture can make an immediate impact on guests.

Meanwhile, the bedroom is more subtle – with a mix of single and double beds decorated in blue and pink bedding. It’s less striking than the lounge, which utilises bolder primary colours. In this room – where housemates can relax and share a conversation with each other – there are stunning blue, red and yellow sofas. These ultimately give the house a real contemporary feel as they embrace more bold and unique styles.

The outside area looks to have also been designed with the comfort of housemates in mind. Following one of the most prolonged heatwaves in recent memory, producers clearly envisioned that the celebrities would be spending a lot of time in this area. As such, the space encompasses a bar area with stools as garden furniture. It’s further evidence that the right outdoor furniture can go quite far in terms of getting people to enjoy the fresh air.

Lastly, both the glam room and the bathroom feature large furniture while still looking spacious. It’s a clever use of space that more and more people are realising is possible if they’ve got the right furniture. If housemates can’t relax in these rooms, then the diary room is also an option. This spot has bright and trendy neon lighting to give it that ultra cool feel.
